If you would like to catch up on the past, visit Barbados Museum which displays collections dating from prehistoric times through the 21st century.

Careenage, which used to be a port for ships, is one of the main attractions of Bridgetown. Now, it houses many restaurants, bars and boutiques. If you are a shopping enthusiast, Broad Street cannot be missed! Here, you can find very good prices on jewellery, watches and precious stones.
